Successful Classrooms is a company with the goal of keeping good teachers in our classrooms. We focus our efforts on making sure new teachers have all of the tools they need to be successful in their first year.

Betsy Ervin is the President and Founder of Successful Teachers, a company specializing in teacher performance and school success.

Betsy is a former high school teacher of ten years during which time she taught elementary, middle and high school music for three different school districts in the Midwest. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she sponsored many after school activities and special events in her schools.

Most recently, Betsy worked with Youth Education Programs for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida. In her role, Betsy worked with hundreds of teachers every year who wanted to give their students something extra by introducing them to the programs the Disney Company had to offer.

In her five years with Walt Disney World, Betsy was nominated three times for the prestigious Partners in Excellence Award recognizing her ability to bring different areas of the company together for a common goal.

Betsy was a featured speaker for the Youth Programs Sales Department. She was asked to speak to teachers and educate them on the programs Disney had to offer because of her ability to relate to them from the teacher’s perspective. She spoke with superintendents, principals, travel planners and teachers and shared her enthusiasm for making anything a learning experience.
